What is µ-Paper?

µ-Paper (pronounced mew-paper), is a very special material that allows us to transfer any images, text or drawings from our computers onto any piece of fabric, and keep it looking the way we want it to look. 


The material that MetaStudios uses for our µ-Papers are created from high quality materials that are imported from Germany. We will then print your designs on them with out special high definition printers that will ensure the accuracy and durability of the print-outs, and to deliver the quality that you'll expect from us. 

What can I use µ-Paper on?

The most amazing thing about our µ-Papers, is that you can just about print on any type of fabric material. Some creative ideas we've received include using µ-Paper to customize t-shirts, shoes, bags and even pencil cases. 


Since µ-Paper can print on almost any fabric surface, your creativity is the only limit to what you can customize! So far, we've customized both cotton and dri-fit t-shirts, canvas bags, fabric pencil cases and even sneakers! However, do note that you should only use it on fabric surfaces. Plastic, nylon (umbrella-type material) and other materials will NOT work.


The reason why we are so excited about µ-Paper, is that it allows us to breathe new life into our old items. Do you have a t-shirt lying somewhere in your wardrobe that you've never worn for months? How do I use it?

Our customers like to tell us that one of the most fun features of using the µ-Papers, is the DIY aspect to it. It's the sense of independence, personalization and satisfaction that customers enjoy most about our products. The only way to get things right exactly how you want it, is to do it yourself!


It's really simple and easy to use. In fact, you don't even need the ironing board. Any smooth and hard surface will do. Even your wooden desk is fine! There really are only 3 easy steps you need to follow:

1. Simply lay the design facing up on top of the fabric, and arrange it the way you like it.
2. Place a piece of glossy paper face-down on top of it.
   (We will supply the glossy paper to you for free)
3. Set your Iron on medium to low heat, and constantly move over the area for 1-3 mins.

And that's it! After it has cooled, you can remove the glossy paper, and you are done. It really couldn't be any simpler to customize your stuff.
